Hopeless Romantic

Ah romance… we all love it. I have been a hopeless romantic from the day my mother made me sit in on her “romantic movie party”. It was an all day event with my mother and all her girlfriends (that initially I was absolutely dreading). We watched Gone with the Wind and a version of Romeo and Juliet (the one that came out in the nineties with Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Daines, although it was good, has nothing on the 1960’s version!). After watching these phenomenal classics, I became "hopeless" and my views on romance and love changed forever. When I was older a good friend of mine introduced me to Audrey Hepburn movies (she is so divine!). We would drink our wine and sit and watch and laugh and cry and say I want that!

Of course everyone’s idea of romance differs just as much as anyone’s opinion about anything. Personally, I like to find romance in many things; anything from a date right out of a cheesy romance novel to skinny dipping on the beach to making each other laugh in an Adam-Sandler-type way. This page is dedicated to all of us who are truly and hopelessly romantic. Periodically, I will be adding sections including articles, romantic date ideas, reviews on some of my favorite romantic movies and romantic comedies, and pretty much anything related to keeping romance alive! Cause we all could use a little romance in our lives…
